Thank you so much for being here. My name is Katie. I am a wife, Momma to 3 wonderful kiddos, photographer, former nurse, and Wisconsin girl. I am obsessed with my family and figuring out how to preserve OUR memories is how I became one of Lake Country’s top family photographers.

Motherhood changed everything for me. From the moment they laid my naked and squirming newborn onto my bare chest, that was it. Everything in my life had led me to that moment and I immediately felt this new sense of purpose. All the things I used to value and think were super important no longer mattered. The ONLY thing that mattered now was this new life that I somehow magically created with MY body, like what!?!

My children are my “WHY” behind everything. They are the reason I quit my full time nurse leadership position. I couldn’t bear the thought of being away from my first born that much! They are the reason I picked up a camera in the first place. To document and forever capture every single moment of our family.

Motherhood is so important and every mother deserves to have meaningful photographs to remember their life by. This is why I am documenting families and newborns for other Mommas who value the same thing I do - preserving these memories! Because let me tell you, these years are flying by in the blink of an eye, and I for one want to have hard evidence of the life I lived.

My style of photography is candid, genuine moments. I always choose connection and storytelling over the perfect posed and forced smile shot.
