Family Photoshoot FAQs

If you’re in the Milwaukee area and looking to schedule your family’s next professional photo session, you might have some questions (which is totally normal)! I’ve compiled some FAQs about family photo sessions to hopefully fill you in on all the info that you need to know! :)

Where will we take our photos? This is totally up to you! We can either do an outdoor photography session or a studio photography session, depending on your preference. Also keep in mind that weather can play into this as well.

What should we wear? This is also up to you. You can go casual, more fancy, whatever you’d like. If you’re doing a studio session, keep in mind that the studio style is more casual with neutral decor. Neutral outfits look great in the studio, and it makes for a very cohesive look. I would recommend avoiding bright colors, because they can cause weird color reflections on your face, and because we want YOU to be the focus, not your outfit. Whatever you choose though, keep in mind that you should be comfortable so that you can relax and be yourself in front of the camera. Can we bring the dog? Sure thing! Pets are more than welcome to join your photography session. After all, they are a very important part of the family and should never be left out. ;)
